Shennong Ben Cao Jing is one of the earliest prepared health-related textbooks in China. Written in the Eastern Han dynasty in between two hundred and 250 CE, it was the blended energy of practitioners in the Qin and Han dynasties who summarized, collected and compiled the effects of pharmacological practical experience during their time intervals.
